The tandoor at one end, the bar at the other, and dinner somewhere in between. Chutney draws an indigenous fusion of pan-Indian cuisine from across the subcontinent rather than any single region of it, paired with home-made chutneys built from rare fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
World cuisine from early breakfast to a late working dinner, the room most guests pass through more than any other, and the one that quietly holds the hotel together. The buffet runs twice a day, and Zing Alfresco puts the same kitchen out beside the pool.
Pastry, chocolate, and things to take away, set against the garden, and the easiest reason to come down before you have to leave. Breads, croissants, quiche, tarts, cakes and pralines, from half past eleven in the morning.
